About MedCON–ESTATE
The 1st Mediterranean Congress on Emerging Science and Technology Applications for Total Environmental Sustainability (MedCON–ESTATE) is a newly launched conference series addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The name ESTATE derives from the Sanskrit "bhūsampad," meaning our Earth.
MedCON–ESTATE focuses on applications of emerging science and technology to address total environmental sustainability — covering different branches of engineering, cutting-edge development, and innovation management in current environmental sustainability challenges.
This event brings together scholars and experts, especially from the Mediterranean basin and extended to Europe, Asia, and beyond, to discuss scientific research related to advancements in different branches of science. It includes an industry forum where leaders share insights on trends, impacts, opportunities, and challenges in enhancing global sustainability.
Initiated by the Laboratory of Transport Phenomena and Biotechnology at the University of Calabria, in collaboration with researchers from Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Germany, India, UK, and many more.
